The hotel boasts stunning views and a beautiful design that pays homage to Geoffrey Bawa, making it a picturesque spot for relaxation. However, the dining experience left much to be desired, as both the lunch options were disappointing and overpriced. While the common areas are lovely, the service during meals was particularly underwhelming. Overall, I would recommend exploring dining options elsewhere.

We had an unforgettable stay at Amanwella, a fantastic beach resort that perfectly blends traditional Sri Lankan design with modern amenities. The stunning ocean view suite offered breathtaking vistas, and the super spacious living areas made it feel like a private oasis. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring our needs were always met. While the dining was good, there’s a bit of room for improvement on the menu variety. Overall, it was a blissful escape in a magnificent setting with some minor areas for enhancement.
